BARBIE
60th Anniversary
Role:
Creative Director
On March 9th, Barbie celebrated her 60th anniversary with her biggest fans... girls. We partnered with R/GA to create a pop-up celebrating the occasion that helped inspire the limitless potential in every girl. Our experience brought people on a journey through Barbie's iconic past which was designed as a physical timeline highlighting her careers and achievements. After the interactive timeline, girls got to explore a magical life-size version of Barbie's dream house. Next up, a room of full of Barbie's latest role model dolls meant to inspire and encourage girls to reach for their dreams. And finally, to reinforce how girls can and should be the last generation of firsts, we created a digital Barbie box to pose inside with your choice of "firsts". We featured hundreds of firsts that girls could claim and aspire to be. Over 6,000 fans came through the space in one day! The experience was picked up by Adweek, The New York Times, ABC, Pix11, Vogue and more.
